How did you two meet?
Nina and Ben may have been living around the corner from each other, but it took a swipe right on Tinder and a howdy from Ben to bring them together. First impressions were everything for these two. Nina, bravely crutching up a hill, one week after an Achilles tendon repair surgery, and Ben, oddly wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pants in 100° heat. The rest, as you say, is history. For a couple that was often described as “grossly inseparable” (at times to the frustration of others), they were destined for Forever. From Broadway shows, to Penn State football games, to brunch, to becoming domestic partners, they have been through everything together.
Why did you choose to get married at the location that you did?
Nina’s grandparents have a house in Marstons Mills and they have been coming to the Cape for her whole life. The Cape is the one place that Nina feels at total relaxation. Wychmere was the first venue we looked at on the Cape and nothing compared!
Were there any happy surprises that happened at the wedding?
Ben’s dad’s piano composition!
What moment sticks out to you above all of the others from the wedding?
We got married!!! ☺ But we loved the composition by Ben’s dad, all of the speeches, and the incredible band!
Now that the wedding is over, what are you going to do with all of your free time?!
Ben moved to Grenada in the Caribbean for Medical School. Nina is in New York working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as an event coordinator while getting an MBA on the side, and visiting Grenada often ☺
