Jill & Tucker | Marriage during COVID

jill tucker marriage during covid

The celebration of Jill & Tucker | a marriage during COVID spanning 2 years

We had the pleasure of getting to know Jill & Tucker over the course of 3 years. They had originally planned a 2020 wedding celebration, but COVID changed their plans for their larger celebration… not just once, not even twice, but three times.

They had a small family gathering on their original wedding date, June 27, 2020, where they signed the Ketubah, exchanged vows, and were officially pronounced husband & wife. They had planned on hosting their larger reception for extended friends & family in the spring of 2021, but decided to reschedule until the summer once things on the COVID front seemed more certain. The wait was well worth it, because the party and weather were flawless!

We can’t thank Jill & Tucker enough for their grace, patience, ability to roll with the punches, and understanding throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding through a pandemic is no easy feat– if these tow can weather the storms that 2020 & 2021 brought, then they can handle anything!

Jessica & Patrick | A Maine Oceanside Microwedding

Jessica Patrick oceanside Microwedding

Jessica & Patrick, like so many couples this past year, had to postpone their 2020 wedding in the wake of COVID-19. Although restrictions would dictate how they would celebrate, it did not deter these two from sharing their nuptials amongst their closest family and friends.Continue reading

Kaela & Ryan | An Intimate Maine Elopement

The intimate Maine elopement of Kaela & Ryan

How did you two meet?
Ryan saw me at the gym and just had to meet me so he asked his brother who I was, found me on Facebook and messaged me!

Why did you choose to get married at the location that you did?
We love Wells! We’ve been vacationing there for the past four years together and I have vacationed there my whole life. We went to Laudholm one weekend in January to check it out before our weekend getaway in Portland and then Ryan proposed! After that we knew we wanted to get married there! We love that we can come back to the spot where those two special moments in our life happened.

Were there any happy surprises that happened?
Ryan surprised me with beautiful diamond earrings, my dad brought me some pretty peonies and my mom made me “something blue” out of an old dress we both wore with my new initials and some pendants from my childhood.

What moment sticks out to you above all of the others?
Eating ice cream and our vows. Sorry! Can’t pick just one!

Now that the wedding is over, what are you going to do with all of your free time?!
Eat a lot more ice cream! We are picking up a new hobby! We’re going to start hiking new trails around us each weekend to spend some quality time together unplugged!
